2. Meeting Introduction

Amid springtime in Stockholm, Sweden, this grand event of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) kicks off. Hosted by the Swedish Society for Acupuncture Academic Research and co-organized by the Swedish Federation of Overseas Chinese Youth, the symposium brings together TCM experts and scholars from home and abroad to build an international academic exchange platform for TCM under the Belt and Road Initiative.

Focusing on cutting-edge fields including TCM gynecology, cardiovascular diseases, orthopedics and trauma, chronic disease management, and reproductive TCM, the conference facilitates academic exchanges between China, Sweden and the Nordic countries in TCM, supports the global dissemination of TCM culture, and contributes to building a healthy Silk Road.

For this online session, young scholars from China are invited to deliver academic presentations, sharing the latest basic and clinical research findings of TCM. TCM practitioners and enthusiasts worldwide are welcome to attend and exchange ideas.

1. Professor Du Huilan: Doctoral Supervisor at Hebei University of Chinese Medicine, National Famous TCM Doctor, Recipient of Special Government Allowance of the State Council, Chairperson of the Gynecology Branch of China Association of Chinese Medicine
2. Professor Duan Yancang: Doctoral Supervisor at Hebei University of Chinese Medicine, specializing in teaching and research of TCM gynecology
3. Professor Li Xinhui: Director of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine and Director of the Warm Disease Teaching and Research Section, The Second Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine

6. Notes for Participants

1. Tencent Meeting will be adopted for this online session. The meeting link will be sent to registered participants via email before the conference.
2. Presenters shall prepare PPTs in advance and deliver academic reports in the scheduled order.
3. Participants are requested to enter the online meeting room 10 minutes early and maintain good meeting order.
4. A Q&A and discussion session will be arranged during the conference. Participants are encouraged to interact and discuss with presenters.
